This is a case of them replacing a goalie that has been playing below his usual level. With an very (actually 2) capeable backups on the roster, they feel like this is the time for a switch. But reguardless anything less than a gold medal performance will be second guessed. (should they have stayed with Marty? or Why didn't they put Luongo in).

i just think if you have brodeur, you use him.


but i do think it's a reaction. you can't change up lines, can't fire the coach. seems marty is getting the blame for the loss. but, i don't care much for MB (due to his off ice shenanigans) so i don't feel too bad for him.
