It has never made any sense at all to me as to the Northern most location for the OTB's is in Richmond. I mean, look at I-95 right there in Fredericksburg. Tons of traffic, tons of truckers stopping there. That place makes total sense to me. Why not at least one somewhere in Northern VA? Alexandria maybe? Right off the 495 beltway. If you don't want to go that far North, how about Woodbridge?

I mean, sweet Jesus, has anyone seen where Scott County is? I understand we have to reach out to back woods gamblers, but my God. And Martinsville? There is NOTHING in Martinsville. Maybe there was some kind of stipulation in regards to proximity of the actual track in New Kent.

Sounds like a good excuse to take a field trip to the OTB today
