John Linder said it best......
"I have opposed every stimulus plan that has come before Congress because it is simply bad policy, but if they pass, the communities in my district which are paying for them deserve to be equally considered in their benefits," Mr. Linder said.
Once they passed this, then why shouldn't these Republicans not ask for it? Why do the people in need to be left out in cold? Why should it only go to the states that their Representative who voted for it only get it?
This is the same BS on health care. When Nebraska and Michigan and whoever else get special consideration over all other states and left these states out in the cold from having the same deals.
