Actually, what he told me is that it is not necessary to cut both off.
We are not planning (and his race record doesnt allow too) to use him as a stallion. But the vet told me that it is not necessary to cut both testicles, since the problem that reflects on his racing performance will be eliminated simple cutting one of them.

JMO, but they do that to Paso Finos routinely and it is not a good thing. It enables the stallion to behave like a stud and you may find that actually gelding him may help him to focus a bit more.
