A couple of races here have taken plenty of guess work. For instance, the sprint looks to me to be the hardest race on the card. I've chosen Classic Blade as my main big, basically on older form, which was very good. The prep run latest looked like some kind of revival, and the best form shown has been when allowed to run close to the pace. An outsider with a big chance in a very open race in my opinion.
Disappointed with the predicted odds of Tartan Gigha, but he's my nap and quite honestly, I think he will win.
Mutheeb is my second best bet on the card, he probably needed his first start for a while last week behind the very impressive (group horse in the making) Leahurst. He showed good form back in the UK and should go very close.
Everybody has been raving about Naval Officer in recent weeks, and if he doesn't win, there will be many sad faces in the Barton camp.
Hot Six is the most interesting horses tomorrow, a regular in Gr1 races recently, those Gr1's that he won probably aren't anything to shout about, but he's shown he useful and with Bary looking to have his string in good form he's of obvious interest in a trappy looking final race, along with Ask The Butler who seems to enjoy running from a layoff and is a battle hardened handicapper at this distance and should give a good account.
