We also badly need another pass rusher, as Pace and sometimes Ellis are the only ones that can beat guys 1-on-1. Shonn obviously should be the starting RB next season, I love TJ, but the torch has been passed and he'll have to accept a smaller role if he's going to be back. A slot receiver wouldn't hurt either. Sanchez was brilliant yesterday, and has gotten better with every game since the Atlanta loss, which is the biggest reason for optimism.

I can't imagine TJ would take the pay-cut necessary to return next year, unless nobody else is interested in him. From what I have read Lito has 10 million coming to him if he returns, so that ain't happening. I wonder if that had anything to do with his benching? Shonn Greene is a freak, should be one of the top rushers in the league for years, if he stays healthy (and holds onto the ball).
Many reasons to be optimistic for next year, and I don't think 12 wins is unreasonable at all. Maybe the Jets can even beat the Dolphins once next season
