This President supports the military on a more social/familial level than the last seemed to (immediately changed policy to allow photos of returning deceased soldiers, etc), might be a good time to turn up the activism if there's really problems.

In the last year,there was a big scandal as to the conditions in Walter Reed
Medical Center. I realize that large systems move slowly, but I think the Vets need a vocal ombudsman with some clout! There are things more important than budgetary concerns.....taking care of those who protected us should be paramount, and inviolate.
