Free safeties get more tackles and INTs than D-Linemen, does that make them better defenders? I don't ever recall Reggie White or Bruce Smith getting attacked for only "doing one thing" yet Revis is docked points for not being needed to roam like Woodson? Go ahead again and look at the receivers Revis faced. He fu cking dominated everyone he played and he was by far the biggest reason for the Jets having by far the best pass defense in the NFL. But I guess allowing your defense to send a billion people at the QB thus creating the league's best pass defense and shutting down half of the field doesn't mean as much as "stats." Well here you go: QBs had a 32.3 rating when they threw at Revis. Woodson is third at 51.8. Revis broke up almost three times as many passes as Woodson. Woodson gave up 5 TDs to Revis's 2 (one was on a 4-yard slant that no one could've defended). Woodson was penalized twice as much as Revis. Give me a fu cking break. We saw what Woodson is about in that Cardinal game. He falls down on one TD, gets blown up by Fitzgerald on another and then gives up 15 yards of crucial field position in the final seconds by stripping instead of tackling. While Revis routinely eliminates the QB's binkie, creating a ripple effect in the opponent's pass offense. Oh and he owns Moss. Owns him. Take that "statistically wiped the floor" sh it somewhere else. Revis may have had the best season a CB has ever had while Woodson does what he always does: makes a highlight or gets burned. Woodson had a good year, Revis had a great one.

I wonder if this is how people who think either Rachel or Zenyatta could win HOY without having a real opinion feel when someone goes off the deep end about why one or the other is far superior and feel the need to disparage the other one despite the fact that they had a sensational season?
Shutdown corner against whom you can make a plan B once he takes away your top receiver vs. sensational defensive all-arounder for whom you can't make a plan B.
It was a toss up. You lost.
Game over. Woodson won.
