Brazilian trainer departs for Dubai today with strong string.

Brazil will have a large contingent of runners represented in Dubai this winter. Brazilian trainer Antônio Luis “Tolu” Cintra Pereira, , departed today for Dubai but his string, which includes the horses listed below, were sent on ahead to Newmarket on Nov. 24 because of a Dubai ban of horses shipping directly in from Brazil. Two of the runners were in the US. Tolu’s string includes Tenarin, who won the G1 Derby Paulista in stakes record time at Cidade Jardim in Sao Paulo in November.
