His name is Helene Mascot, although he's widely remembered by his former name Salford Mill...

He won his first HK start easily... the Mercedes Benz HK Mile. He beat home some really nice runners including Green Birdie and Jackpot Delight.
He was 2nd in the Derby Trial (to Green Birdie) and went on to win the HK Derby in glorious fashion.

Such high hopes for this one... such a bright future. It really looked like he was the next big star.
He had only one start last year (came in last) and a couple this season (didn't do well at all).
Chadwick rode him in his last barrier trial and he came home ahead of some amazing runners - Viva Pataca, Collection and Armada.
Oh well. Hope he's okay and that he has a long and happy life.
As an aside, I've never understood the fascination with the name "Helene" for these guys but it's a little sad as they're all retired now. (Helene Pillaging, Helene Brilliant, Helene Elegance and Elite and the others. There have been 12 in all.

GROUP 1 WINNER ONEMORENOMORE RETIRED
(no author listed)
It is with great sadness that Patinack Farm advises of an injury forced retirement to its high-class Group 1 winning sprinter ONEMORENOMORE.
Onemorenomore stumbled at Warwick Farm on Tuesday morning whilst trotting and went down on his knees. X-rays were taken on Wednesday revealing a damaged exterior carpal bone. Prognosis of a return to the races was good however the injury is estimated to require 12-months of rehabilitation before he could return to the races, so it was with a heavy heart that Patinack principal Nathan Tinkler made the decision this afternoon to retire the three-year-old.
