That said .... I like this defense a whole hell of a lot better than the 1998 Vikings defense - and that team went 15-1.
This isn't a bad defense. If they still had Richard Seymour ... I wouldn't take any other defense in the entire leauge over them when you look at the way Baltimore and Pittsburgh have been playing

seymour isn't coming back , there is no pass rush , surely you understand moss is not the same player he was back in '98 , surely you understand chris carter was an all time WR on the other side of the field , robert smith was a stud out of ohio st , culpepper was healthy at this point and did what he had to do
this defense just doesn't have a difference maker and that will be the difference
pats will win the east , maybe win a game or two in the playoffs , but , the defense will not hold up over 3 games , even if moss goes off
