Regarding Cut It Up in the 4th, underlayed? Yes. Bad dirt race? Yes. There are other ways of looking at this horse's form. Instead of saying the one dirt race was awful, what if we say, both times this horse was in a for a tag she ran well? She broke her maiden for 12.5k and missed by 1.5 lengths in a 25kN2L. Perhaps she was just in over her head in her one dirt try at the N1X level and it is not a hatred for the surface?

If you are betting to win, play the 12. If you are playing horozontally, I would use the 3 too, but that's just me.

I can't decide what to do with your 4 Kev.....

As for the 5th, the only horses that can beat the chalk are the firsters. I like the 1 a bit and the 6 looks okay, but both need to improve dramatically to catch up to Apple Charlotte. As a side note, my stats have RHT as having four winners on the grass. Congrats to PG1985 for catching every one of them. You are truly the man.

Like I said above. If you are betting to win, you try to beat her, but horozontally, she is a near single.

In the 6th race, what is with Dale Bennett's choice of jocks? Rejected is a must use, but don't get mesmorized by those quick OTC works. Everybody works quick there since they installed the junk. Had those works been at Tampa, he'd be a single (and probably not entered for a tag).

Fast and firm (no rain since opening day, so the turf will be firmer and quicker than Saturday) today.....
