Well I mean first people said it was the Red Sox and Chisox who would beat them in the Al. Well, adios to them, they couldnt even make it to post season.

I agree 100%. What a huge disappointment by both teams.

I will say it now, if anyone beats the Yanks it won't be in the World Series, or one of the central teams, it will be the A's.

I agree somewhat. I think the A's have the best chance but both teams need to win 1st round games first just to meet and thats no lock. I dont feel that about the NL at all. While inferior to the AL by a lot, any of those teams can beat any of the AL teams in a given 7 game series. Not likely but wouldnt completely shock me.

Tell me Mike, did you really give the Marlins any chance against the Yankees in 2003? I sure didnt. The Yankees were just as good that year, with better starting pitching, and the Mets are far better right now than the Marlins were in 2003.
