Well maybe because TARP money is mandated
by law NOT to be used in this manner? One of the only reasons that TARP passed initially was because of that mandate. Secondly it is a politically motivated use of hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars in a short term and most likely ineffective way. That would upset me.
And I dont know why anyone would think that the economy is going to magically come back around in 2 years with the condition of the rest of the world not to mention the dollar, interest rates, upcoming tax increases, stagnant unemployment rates, close to bankrupt states, upcoming inflation, ect....
