Believe it or not, that was actually not a bad field. The horses that ran 1-2 in there can run. That horse Sourdough Sam is not a bad horse. In his debut, he had a ton of trouble and still won by 7 lengths. He's got a really nice turn of foot. He had a pretty bad trip in the stakes race. The horse that won the race has really improved and has turned into a decent horse. I think he could compete in Southern California. Tiny Woods' race up there was actually not as bad as it looked.
