I couldn't agree with you more. To make matters worse, I can't remember Mike Smith ever controling pace and going wire to wire with a horse. He thinks every horse he rides is like Zenyatta, spotting the field 15 lengths coming late while going 7 wide. But with a short field (after scratches) he should be lone speed.
