My mother in-law will freak out that her house isn't clean, she doesn't have enough food, etc... My sister in-law just had twins, but she won't let my kids near her babies because somebody brainwashed her that babies can't be around kids until the babies are a certain age, so we have to explain to our kids why they can see their cousins even though we just drove two days and are in the same town with them. Then, once we have dry turkey (its a given with my mother in-law), we get to drive two more days home.
