They will try and place as many hounds as possible with the various rescue and shelter groups in the Chicago area. Ideally they should be in a foster home for 4-6 weeks learning about stairs, hardwood floors and sliding glass doors. Also need to determine if they are cat friendly or not.
They will never be mistaken for a Golden Retriever who gets your paper every morning, but they are loving, gentle and a very cool pet. They deserve a good home and are so appreciative of a dog bed instead of the crate they are used to.
