Third Race Analysis by Byron King (DRF)
1. Handlethetruth
2. Legal Motion
3. Kickin N Screamin
Frontrunning HANDLETHETRUTH makes her second start off a layoff and returns to dirt, her surface of preference. She further benefits from dropping two notches in class - from $10,000 to $5,000 - for the red-hot Dale Romans stable. LEGAL MOTION, in contrast, has no early speed and figures to be rolling late. This is the easiest field she has faced since March at Turfway when she won for this price. Since that time she has raced mostly in starters, higher priced claimers, and allowances. 3-0-0-0 at Churchill, though. KICKIN N SCREAMIN came up empty in the stretch when racing at Keeneland last month in a $7,500 claimer, weakening to fifth. She takes a needed drop, and showed the ability to handle this track earlier in her career when second in a maiden $50,000 race here at 10-1 odds.
