If they get to game seven, Hamels isnt a very appealing option right now. if Lee had gone yesterday he could have had Hamels on a short leash if they got to a game 7. Bringing in Mr Mediocre, Blanton isnt exactly like bringing Rollie Fingers in. As a matter of fact Happ may be the best option in game 7 though it would take a huge set to actually do it.

he can't send hamels out in a game 7 , he just can't do it , the team doesn't think they can win a game with him now
