The Lions were so awful on Sunday, I don't think you can take anything from it from the Bears standpoint. Jon Kitna is just a poor excuse for a quarterback, and one break - that piss poor "hand to the face" call on Fernando Bryant - and the Lions are within ten in the third quarter. That was the game right there.

I don't think you can put the blame on Kitna, 23-30 passing is pretty good. The Lions were penalized 14 times for 104 yards and turned the ball over three times including fumbles on each of their first two possessions leading to ten early points for the Bears. Which one of those fumbles was Kitna's, but as a whole, I thoght he played OK. Lions D after that great job they did in the Seattle game was really bad. They made Rex Grossman look like friggin Peyton Manning. Actually, I think the Bears are for real. All they need is about 17-24 pts/game and they win 12 -13 games this year. I dunno about the superbowl, but I think they could go NFC Championship game.
