As far as Sanchez goes, I do believe he will be fine down the road. But I really think that Ryan dropped the ball yesterday. I know you don't want to hurt the kids confidence, but you also have to do what's best for the team. And he should have pulled Sanchez at some point yesterday. He even had a built in excuse with the weather. Could have spinned it on Sanchez's first game in any kind of elements. Could have even used Eli's performance in the playoffs as proof thet even expierenced QB's sometimes have trouble in that kind of wind. Most people would have probably given him a pass if Clemens came in and the Jets won. But instead he left Sanchez in, he threw a couple more picks and then they went on to lose the game. So Sanchez takes a bigger confidence hit and they lose a divisional game at home against a bad team. I think Ryan did a poor job with the situation.

I completely agree. He had to come out of that game. It's not just like he made a couple of bad throws, he was totally, unforgivably awful. He did everything wrong that a QB could possibly do wrong. Pull him, get the win, tell him to forget about it and put him back in against the Raiders. Instead you keep him in to throw another several INTs, let him get booed every time off the field and start wondering whether he's cut out for this. It was a terrible job by Rex, who's beginning to show more chinks in his armor every week.

Because Schottenheimer is a moron and he doesn't know more than 2-3 running plays. If you learn how to stop those (they're usually run consecutively), we're screwed. Run behind Brandon Moore with TJ, fake the reverse to Clowney and run behind Faneca with Leon. That's about it. The guy's never run a pitch in his life. So if those two plays don't work on 1st and 2nd down, you have no choice but to put the ball in the air.
