Val Royal entered the Oak Tree Mile off of a long layoff, and he said that a trainer could get a horse to run a big one off of a layoff, but could he a duplicate performance 2nd out in the BC Mile? I guess that Canani got that 2nd big run. I keyed Bach that day (Euro sprinter angle). Came up a little short.
