I echo those sentiments, Steve!! Great job, Linda!!! It's always fun to see her win but it makes it so much moreso when she wins on the big days.
When you consider that she doesn't have a bunch of big money owners who are able to feed a constant stream of well bred horses to her like some MD trainers have, it's a testament to her ability as a trainer that enables her to accomplish what she has. With 6 MD Million Day wins, she has to be pretty close to ranking in the top 5 of MD Mil winning trainers. Quite a feat!!!
Congrats also to Mr. and Mrs Murray on their fine day. A win and a second (Celtic Innis) made for a fine day for them. Baltimore Sun had a nice article in yesterday's edition on the Murrays. Their good fortune with Our Emblem a few years ago was a lot of fun to see unfold.

And as happy as I was for Linda and the Murrays, it was also good to see Butch Cave win the MD Million Classic with Sumacha'hot. Cave claimed this horse at Timonium for $5k last summer ('08). Yesterday's win was worth about $110k - quite a return for a $5k investment. That's the kind of claim that gives guys like me a glimmer of hope that maybe someday......
Congrats again to Linda!!!!
