Fui, who ran in the 5th on Sunday at Louisiana Downs, had last started on October 2, 2002, when she finished third at Belmont for a $75k tag. Obviously needing the race after a layoff of nearly seven years, Fui was eased in the stretch on Sunday. Believing they were seeing a good thing, bettors sent her off at 10-1.
