I second that. He would've gotten suspended if he
hadn't gone to the whip enough, i.e. not hit her that much and she loses. It's called 'not persevering.' How new are you to horse racing? I don't mean to be snarky, I genuinely want to know. I don't see how he's supposed to ride a 1-4 shot in a close finish any differently without getting penalized. I was more upset with him in the Haskell. No need to swing the whip on her that much. She was already putting them away. He could take a shot that she'd win without much whipping today, but that's a big risk.
