Reporters protect our sources but I can assure you, his actions are true (multiple eyewitnesses on sat) and there is a definite correlation with his social activities and how well he is or isn't riding. When you see Garcia standing up before wire, giving up early, making awful foul claims after an awful acting attempt, it is a safe assumption he wasn't in bed before the late news broadcast.
