Why can't Polytrack just be accepted as a third surface? It's not dirt and it's not grass. California, which pretty much screws up everything clearly went too far in mnadating all tracks convert to an artifical surface. Owners like Jackson are weel within their rights to take their ball and go home if they don't want to play there. It's not great for the sport, but you can't blame people for having an opinion. It is a shame that the Breeders Cup decided to play on the Poly 2 years in a row. It should never happen again if the tracks remain the samein how the) are surfaced.

Who doesn't accept it as a 3rd surface? That is exactly what it is..The question is why in the friggin world did racing need a 3rd surface.. I was all for Poly because I was convinced it was safer for horses and kept them from injuries, hence bigger fields.. Not exactly true ayh?
