 If not for her...

Palacio de Amor would be a multiple Grade 1 winner. Instead of being a multiple Grade 1 winner.. Palacio de Amor is 1-for-6 lifetime with a lifetime top Beyer of 82.

Dream Empress would be a champion 2yo filly because she romped in a Grade 1 at Keeneland with an 80 Beyer and than was 2nd to Stardom Bound in the BC Juv fillies.

Haka .. who has never run a Beyer higher than 83 and is also elidgible for N1X alw races would also be a Grade 1 winner.

Third Dawn would also be a Grade 1 winner ... she just finally made it through her N1X alw condition in her 9th lifetime start.

So, while it's real easy to mock Stardom Bound by calling her a 5 time Grade 1 winner ... just keep in mind all of the disgracefully moderate horses she prevented from being Grade 1 winners or - in the case of Dream Empress - Eclipse Award Champion.

I'm not knocking Stardom Bound at all. Quite the contrary. I think anyone on this board is lying if they said they wouldn't want a filly like her in the barn.
BTW, she also beat Evita Argentina, who beat the boys in the San Vicente. (Not that the race came up sparkling either)
