Thanks, guys! Really liked this one and the more I looked, the more I liked. The turf race that led to the layoff (and probable injury) was a very good effort that indicated that this one could beat this field and might even be better on turf than dirt. It seemed to me that the connections likely had this race in mind since he got back on the track in June and the dirt races were to get this one ready for the turf race at Saratoga.
There are always connections that gear to have their horse ready for a big effort at Saratoga and Ready's Clyde looked live to me. Not to mention that I didn't care for either the 8 or 10, particularly at the underlaid prices.
Heels, I did get out with a win bet that saved the day, but blew the late pk4 badly and considering what it paid I am kicking myself for the way I played that.
