The market for horses is down...way down. However, breeders are still breeding. The economy works on supply and demand. If the supply outweighs the demand, you are going to have foals that sell for $25 and adults who sell for $100. Whose fault is that? It's the breeders fault. You're blaming everything on something that only you have control....over-breeding your horses. Stop breeding them! Stopping the slaughter of horses has nothing, whatsoever, to do with the prices being so low. It's the glut of horses that makes the prices so low. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out! STOP BREEDING! If people aren't buying, or paying a good price for what you produce, why on earth do you still produce it? If the market is no there, then it's just not there!
