Weddings are evil. Pure evil. Always seem to interfere with great racing days. I missed Preakness Day this year as well as Woodward/Forego day. Been to about 10 weddings in the last 2 years. The good thing is there are no more this year and as of know we have none planned for next year (Huge knock on wood).
I feel like a complete outcast at weddings. Always struggle to find good conversation. Never anybody that wants to talk horse racing.

I feel you pain.. weddings and other family related events have forced me to miss a Preakness('05) and Belmont('06) the past two years.. and now, it looks like another event will force me to miss this year's Breeders Cup!
