The 40 million thing is deceptive because it works out to a reasonable yearly cap hit for a guy that will be in your 8 man rotation for sure. A very good signing in my opinion any way you cut it.

Giving Gordon that kind of money could come back to hurt especially if you don't know what you are doing with Hamilton. That will be a tough contract to get rid of. The backcourt situation is interesting to say the least.
