After his maiden win Assumusen thought enough of him to enter him in the G3 Risen Star and G2 Louisiana Derby. Although, he proved at that time he could not handle graded company.
He's coming off a win and Bridgmo (1st call rider) had a choice. Assumusen must think highly of Soul Warrior and this is not the most accomplished field.
The 15-1 ML seems a bit much and I can see him going off around 8-1, which is still good value on a horse that according to the way he's been handled has the potential to become a stakes winner.
Moonport for Wilkes is the now horse and is extremely dangerous in this spot as well.
