Breeders' Cup adds eight foreign qualifiers

The Breeders' Cup has added eight races in foreign countries to its "Win and You're In" program that guarantees the winner a starting position in one of the Cup's 14 main-event races, scheduled this year for Nov. 6-7 at Santa Anita Park in Southern California.
The new foreign races are:
- Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh on June 27
- Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown on Sept. 9
- Champion Stakes at Newmarket on Oct. 17
- Moyglare Stud at the Curragh
- Diamond Stakes at Dundalk on August 9
- Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville also Aug. 9
- Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley on Sept. 25
- Prix de L'Abbaye at Longchamp on Oct. 4
