Back in action for the first time since getting married and taking a couple months away from the game. We'll see what we can do with this Thursday card. Looks very playable and I like a couple horses which I think will be decent prices.

Race 6:

#5 - Martini Mixer (Talamo/Koriner) I think this one will improve a lot getting back to the synthetic surface at Hollywood. Won on Pro-ride at Santa Anita and gets back to the cushion after trying grass. I think this one has a really good shot of hitting the board in this starter allowance race.

Race 8:

#12 - Flatter Me Again (T.Baze/O'Neil) It's not very often that a horse with these connections will open at 20-1 and the horse has been bet a lot lower than this in his past four attempts. The biggest reason I like this one as a longshot play in the finale is that the jock lost his whip at the 1/4 pole and the horse tanked it. He may not win but he definitely could get a piece.
