The Florida-breds are always a bit ahead of the 'northern-bred' foals in the earlier parts of the 2yo season over here. They get to be outside all the time in nice weather down in the Sunshine State as foals and it gives them a head-start. Will be fascinating to see if they have that sort of physical advantage over the GBs and IREs.

If they do have a physical edge, it will be a huge help, as some of the juvenile races can be extremely rough races.. There is also plenty of quality in those races though even though its quite early.
