He rode the season last year in Dubai. He was asked by the Sheik to come and ride. He was going to be the contract rider so to speak for Doug Watson.
Latest word was that he was going to go to Arlington. Dennis Cooper was going to handle his book but Jara was delayed in Panama due to the birth of his child. He was originally supposed to arrive for the opening of the meet, but he stayed in Panama for the delivery. Cooper had said he spoke with Jara after the meet began and Jara said he was still coming. I don't think he's arrived yet.
