What the heck do they think an individual is?

I always thought it was genetics with a large dose
of very specific individual events experienced in utero,
through childhood, an so on. And the events can be chemical
or physical events. The sum of one's life up to that point.
A unique individual has always been the sum
total of an impossibly unique set
of events impinged upon a genetic sequence
and most importantly, a unique nervous system in humans.

And then of course we have the small problem of what consciousness
is... How in the world do people actually think that "they" will live again?
What the heck do they define as an individual, what do they think
makes them, them?

I am perplexed as to what people are thinking.

So it is possible that a cloned Smooth Operator could be posting on a daily bases:

" Failed Obama- Biden economic policies...." ?
