After James made the free throws to tie the game, I got several text messages from friends who thought the fix was in. I was scratching my head, too. The call was terrible, but I understand superstars get borderline calls in the final seconds. My first thought, however, was: When was James going to shoot the ball, actually? He fell down with less than a second left and had yet to look at the rim. If Cleveland won the game after that call, you would have seen conspiracy theorists going berserk for a long time.
