I don't think Rachel just lucked out with small fields. One of the things about being who she is, is you start scaring off the competition. And what's she gonna do? Hit up fields of 3 in the future? Who wants their filly's heart broken? Might've aimed for the Belmont or Travers myself if you want actual competition with less of a tight fit between races but sure, they wanna go for the Preakness it's not that crazy.
