The ride of the year could've been Leparoux' on Winter View. In a ridiculously slow paced race, he sits chilly, last, inside, behind horses, doesn't swing her wide on the turn, coming between horses, and, thus, doesn't move her prematurely. By letting the others run on the turn, he's able to last move them, but last move them correctly, when they straighten out. As such, he runs down a field that ran a 27.78 1st split and a 26.00 2nd split, etc..
This race should be used as an example of how TIMING of MOVES is superordinate (a bigger set) to FRACTIONS (pace of race).
