Then they should announce that they are going with a new rider. The fact that they are pandering to this silliness makes them just as guilty as everyone.
To be honest, this whole circus makes me wonder just a little bit about Dunkirk, as no sane person would choose Pioneer of the Nile over Dunkirk for this race, unless there's an untold story. Now, the untold story could be a number of things ( use your imagination ), but the fact that it's being dragged out like this has to make you wonder.
But, there is no reason for Team Zayat to be annoyed, as there are very capable riders without Derby mounts that they could have already signed up to ride Pioneer of the Nile.
