Default A new season and Selig is still brain dead

OK, no big surprises here. The commish who decided that the All-Star game should determine home field advantage in the World Series, the commish who repeatedly looked the other way while drugs made a mockery of the game, and a guy who pockets $15 mill a year, still hasn't figured out how to make a reasonable MLB schedule.

Its still Sunday April 5 and we already have our first cancellation: the Royals/White Sox in Chicago. Residing in the Chicago area, I can see snow falling outside as I write. WHat a huge shocker........30 degree weather in Chicago in the first week of April. Was it last year or 2007 that the Indians had a full series against the Angels cancelled and ended up being played in Milwaukee? Is it really that difficult to play the first 2 weeks exclusively in the warm weather sites as well as the domed stadiums? All you need to do is avoid games in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Boston, Philly, Pittsburgh, New York, Kansas City, Denver, Cincinnati and St. Louis. Is that too difficult? I guess for Butt-head Selig it is too difficult to figure out.
