He finished 3rd, about 3 lengths behind the winner, in an even effort. Looks like he ran well, though, disputing the pace for much of the race. I love Pulpit, but I couldn't help rooting for the Jump Starts.......3rd is fine, though.
Per the chart, I'm afraid this race doesn't look like anything special. It was run in 1:46, with a closing sixteenth in 7 seconds (mile: 1:39). I think Claiborne might want to put Passport back on the turf.
