If you are talking economically, there is really very little evidence that what he is doing is right or will work, especially in the short term and considering how screwed up the rest of the world is too. If he is wrong then this is possibly disastrous for some charities. At the very least you have to admit the timing is premature considering that it is far from a sure thing to believe that hes policies will actually work. Of course as Roit said it is doubtful that Congress will pass a bill that could be spun as anti-charity.
