if they are a physical match the Silver Music/Darbay, i guarantee that pedigree has winner written all over it. Nines Wild, Night Caller, and Trick Me are tail male Ice Capade in NY.
The Key Contender/Bourbon Streettune i like because of the Ace Card 5x5 that results. I think Concorde Bound has had some success crossing Bold Ruler line to Bold Ruler tail male which the Key Contender gives you too. A nice ped always results when you cross the potent males and then inbreed a reines de course to really tighten up the ped. Inbreeding reine de course gives the sire more of what he is looking for, imo.
Calumar, a Calumet bred son of Seattle Slew, is a 1/2 brother to Alydar and he has just never gotten decent mares. He has shown success with Northern Dancer influenced mares. He is a great outcross for Northern Dancer/Mr Prospector and more breeders need to send him some mares. He's not getting any younger and his pedigree is to die for.
Of course you should match the couple physically before a mating, not just on paper.
