Perhaps we should let ... entertainers lead the way in science? Or maybe butchers? How about salesmen?
Yes. For the past eight years, the issue of stem cell research was driven mainly by politics. And religion.
So I guess we can't let politicians or religious leaders lead the way in science. Because we tried that. Didn't work out well. Pretty much crushed science.
