It's worth noting that of the 10 horses Brother Keith beat in his maiden win at CD, nine of them are still maidens. Two have yet to run back but the rest have gone:
2. Double Pittsburgh - Lost two at Oaklawn
3. Discreet Street - Lost two at Gulfstream
4. Bobby B. Goode - Lost one at Turfway, one at Gulfstream
5. Stan teh Tap Man - Lost at Turfway twice, broke his maiden, then lost in 1st try vs. winners
6. Another Dancer - Loser of five in a row at CD and FG
7. Maloof Magic - Beaten handily for a tag at Oaklawn
8. Classic Day - Hasn't run back
9. Zosogood - Loser of three in a row at FG
10. Sea of Enquiry- Loser of five in a row including three tries for 7.5k-15k tags at Turfway
11. Nantucket- Yet to run back.
Clearly, Brother Keith beat up on an absolutely horrible field. He's also running on the wrong surface now, so that explains his struggles. The original point about there being plenty of N1X events is correct, especially at Gulfstream.
