That may be the case in general but, in this particular race, Icon Project couldn't even get to the 4th and 5th horses (early). One of two possibilities: she ain't much and needs a collapsing race to win AND the winner probably dusts her with just about any setup (the more likely one); or the ENTIRE field was compromised by the lone speed (doubtful).

SPEED centric analyses don't quite get it done on the turf.
